 GISUTECH Music Video Clip theme for GISUTECH 2021: "Covid-19 Awareness & Prevention."

 

GISUTECH Music Video Clip heightens public concern for environmental problems and offers solutions by pulling at the auditory heartstrings through performance (as a performer). GISUTECH Music Video Clip allows the student artists to influence the public at the level of the heart. 

Primary and Secondary students can create a music video clip about environmental problems. 

How it works: Get the idea, Record your Video, Record your Song, Edit your clip and Upload your video to your Youtube Channel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GISUTECH MUSIC VIDEO CLIP | RULES

  • All entries must be in a digital video format.

  • Students may work together in groups or submit entries as individuals. (the maximum number of students allowed for this category is two)

  • The length of the video should not exceed 3 minutes.

  • All entries should begin with a 10-second full-screen “title screen” that includes the following information:

    • Students name

    • School name

    • Title of video

    • GISUTECH 202

    • Total running time (not including the 10-second title screen)

  • All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the original source. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. If chosen as a  finalist, you must submit a list of properly cited sources and references.

  • There is no entry fee.

  • No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest. Written permission must be obtained and provided upon request for all copyrighted materials.

  • No professional assistance is allowed. Adults may assist with production but are limited to verbal guidance only. Adults are allowed to be actors or camera operators but not content contributors.

  • All entries must be submitted in English, if entries are not in English they must include English subtitles.

  • The participant should be dressed well and in an appropriate manner. Performances in a sportive or casual clothes will not be accepted for evaluation.

  • Videos can be made with consumer cameras, camcorders, mobile phones, tablets, as well as professional equipment and setup.

  • Your video must be posted on YouTube and set to either “Public” or “Unlisted”. An explanation video of how the clip was made must be submitted, and must not be longer than two minutes.
